Isabella is a Boston born, New York City based artist who received her BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Minor in Art History, and currently work as a Graphic Artist for FREEZE CMI in NYC. Her traditional artistic practice embraces oil painting, and currently investigates abstracting marine biological forms within and outside of their natural habitats. The other side of her practice operates at the intersection of art and science, conducting projects ranging from creating small scale sculptures out of living cells, to using bacteria and other sustainable materials to create completely eco-friendly and regenerable art materials.
